Design and Build Quality
The Aspire Nautilus GT Vape Kit comes in three colours; Gunmetal, Stainless Steel and Rose gold. The battery section of the mod has a typical feel and look to it. It is not very different from other mods you might have used in the past, like the Aspire Zelos. It is sizeable and easily fills your hand.
The external case of the mod is made from zinc alloy at the top and bottom. The back of the device features an aluminium body, and the front is made from plastic. The combination of these materials results in a super-smart device that is aesthetically appealing. The power, adjustment and firing buttons are all made from reflective plastic.
Aspire Nautilus GT Tank
At first glance, the Nautilus GT tank looks very similar to the Innokin Zenith tank. It has a stainless steel glass protection tube and comes apart without the need to use any special tools. Everything about the tank, including the threads, is smooth and easy to operate.
It has a top-fill design. Inside the top fill cap is an O-ring that seals the outer of the tank, followed by two O-rings that go into the centre airflow tube to prevent leaks from the fill holes.
Removing the top fill cap is relatively easy. All you need to do is a quarter turn. The two holes are about 4mm, which is quite generous in size.
The Nautilus GT tank features 5 different-sized holes. The airflow adjustment is super accurate, allowing you to close the airflow fully. It isn't airtight, but it is a tight as you need it to be.
The airflow adjustment ring has a good grip and clicks into place for each hole. It makes it easy to use even without looking to see how many holes are open.
Power Options
The BVC coils that come with the kit only have a recommended wattage of around 28W for the 0.4ohm coil. However, the Aspire Glint Mod goes up to 78W. Although this seems like a waste of power, it’s actually not. It leaves room for you to upgrade the tank at the right time and unlock the full potential of the mod as your vaping experience grows.
